3 whole years huh? try 8 years of it...i still just like melody and stuff like that, but hey, i'm a big techno/dance fan too, so that's where my tastes are a little different....i do like some of the stuff you're talking about dooman...it's pretty damn wicked, but there's no "color" to some of it...makes me think of grey and black and silver, which would have been cool back in the day...but quite frankly, i like music with a whole palette of different things, devoid of monotony

if you read the lyrics to the music its almost a story with most metal bands which i think is pretty cool......actually thats pretty dumb i guess most music has some sort of story behind it but...these are the fairy tales of storys or somthing but

yes Sceptor of the Ancients is one of the best metal albums of all time....Matthew Chalk is the best death vocalsist ive ever heard....too bad he left the band......
whoever mentioned Necrophagist - Epitaph is one of the best metal albums of all time id say too .....i have over 100GB of metal all full albums uploaded on my pc if ne1 up for trades... black, prog, death, grind, brutal ...lil of everything as long as they are talented musicians....
