earliest to flower

first time grower. and i only have 1 healthy plant left after a month of growth. the plant is about 6 inches tall and has maybe 6 branches. under 18/6 light.

anyways. im kinda in a hurry to get this trial run over with so i can start my second growing attempt. and get more serious. especially now since i only have one nice plant left (and 2 that are showing chemical burn symptoms and are pretty far gone) im wanting to hurry it along even worse.

im not worried about yield at all. im just wanting to get the plant through a full growing cycle so i can visually see the changes. and maybe get a joint or two of some of my first home grown bud!

or to find out its a male and go ahead and get started on my second attempt.

is it too early now to switch to 12/12 and get the plant to show sex?

are there any consequences to forcing it to flower this early?

Hey man.

If there are any signs of preflowering, it's fine to go into 12/12. Even if not, you should be cool with a month of veg. stage. Go ahead and put her into 12/12 and see what happens. It's going to double in size though, so be careful not to keep the lights too close. Maybe 2-3" away from the top of the plant.
