Just respect her privacy, and maybe she'll respect yours. If she wants to tell you, she will. If she wants to smoke with you she will.


Just be aware that the parent has a higher responsibility than to be your smoking buddy. It may sound cool on paper, but you knowing that she smokes might be the last thing that she wants.
