Poll: How many of you eat Fast food?

Not me, but i'm interested in seeing how many of you eat fast food. I don't eat it for the obvious reason, it's bad for you. Pretty much everything McDonalds sells, is chemical altered food, meat that's pumped with steroids, and ketchup that's mainly sugar. But there's another reason. The hell those animals go through is unbelievable.

Ooooo i eat burgers from McDonalds, must be the reason i'm buff lol

And i do eat it, but only like once every 2 weeks or so
I'd rather have a proper dinner that fills me up and tastes better (and doesn't cost me anything as my parents buy the food lol)

Guilty. I never have time to cook so we eat out a lot, and I grab fast food more often than I should. I do try to eat bunless burgers and no fries, though. But I do turn my burger into a value meal occassionally...like right when I get off work and Im starving!

Ever since I saw Supersize Me, I don't if I can avoid it.

I didnt eat McDonalds for almost a year after seeing that documentary. But, it pulled me back. They have a great $1 menu and they're everywhere, it's hard not to take advantage of how convenient grabbing some McD's is.

Imagine if we didn't have fast food ???? We'd all have to sit in a restaurant and wait hours to eat a way overpriced burger.

McDs, BK, Wendys and all the rest provide an invaluable service, not to mention giving work to teen and senior citizens. SUPERSIZE ME !!!!

Believe it or not, the movie sparked this poll. Donnie, you are right though, Mcdonalds and other fastfood joints (no pun intended) thrive on the want of convenience from people. And yes, they do give work to Teens and senior citizens, or anyone for the matter, there's no denying that. I was happy to read that Mcdonalds ditched their "supersize" option. That's one small step for Americans. It's just another corrupt institution in the Land of Freedom.

What made me so upset about Supsersize Me was that it was a big fat finger pointing at McDonalds. So many restaurants and companies lure youth with prizes and games to eat their shitty food. Kids menus at restaurants are full of foods loaded with nitrates and fat. Red Robin offers bottomless fries and has an arcade, there's Chuck E Cheese, Kids Meal Frozen dinners (which offer nothing of nutritional value), cereals loaded with sugar and free prizes, cartoon networks, Nick, and Disney channels market the absolute worst food to children. If you look in the grocery store almost all the lunch pack foods for kids are utter shit.
But everyone's really hating on McDonalds. I actually admire the company for being willing to change to adapt to their customers wishes, and respect their concerns by offering healthier options now, removing the supersize option, and changing their marketing (which could have been because of Supersize Me, but I remember them bringing in the healthier options long before the movie...but I dunno if thats the sole reason or not). I wish other companies would take note of McDonalds ability to transform as the times change.

I understand that. And I definitely understand the hook of the movie with eating nothing but McD's for 30 days. I just wish the whole issue of marketing bad food to people was covered more thoroghly than it was (maybe he'll make a sequel). The biggest eye-opener for me was when he went into the schools cafeterias. Seemed like he was really getting into the big issue then.
