Getting pets high
I just met this guy that my wife hooked up some pretty good bud through. We went to his place and smoked/played pool. Anyway... He got his dog high by grabbing his snout and blowing smoke directly into his nose. The dog didn't seem to enjoy the process at all. I must admit I was kindof offended and felt a little bad for the dog. It also seemed to have a scared-into-submission attitude about it but maybe that's just the way dogs are.
Personally I like cats and I've had a cat who enjoyed it when I blew smoke in it's face. I used to have to toke up in my car when I lived with my first roomates and Grendle (the cat) would follow me out there and lay on the dashboard while I blew smoke at it, purring.
I've been told that getting your pets high is abusive. I didn't think so much with grendle because I never really forced him to sit there but seeing this guy get his dog high made me think twice about it. What do you all think?? Anyone else get their pets high and can you tell if they are or aren't high?kablam Reviewed by kablam on . Getting pets high I just met this guy that my wife hooked up some pretty good bud through. I only get my dog high. My cat hates it, so I don't blow it in her direction. My dig comes running though when he smells the reefer. He sits down beside me, and I just blow smoke in his direction. I don't grab him by the snout and force it on him, that's mean. I only give it to my pets when they want it. I think it's only abusive when they don't want it but the owner does it anyways. That's like someone grabbing a non-cig. smoker, and blowing it directly in their face.

No, when I sleep the dog is always right by my side. But I'll start to blaze and she just stares and walks away. I can tell she hates it. One time to see if she enjoyed it i blew it by her face not in it and she did nothing but move away. So I respect my dog and if she dont want to get high she doesnt need to.

I use to be a lot meaner to my cats, i would pretty much do what that guy did with his dog. Now i just kinda randomly blow it their way. If they wanna move they can. Of course sometimes i will smoke with me holding them in my lap, and just kinda blow the smoke in their face, but im not as mean as i use to be. Yeah my cats more like the come down part, then the peak. I even tried to get them a mild buzz still didnt work, it worked for like 2 seconds then i think the paranoia(sp) hit in. lol

My dog doesn't like the smoke but he did eat some of my brothers hash once... I've never tried blowing the smoke at my cat but I may try it once and if she doesn't like it then it won't happen again.

My dog hates the smoke. I don't think it's right to do that. It scares the shit out of most dogs. BUT if the dog doesn't seem to mind, happy toking!

ive had dogs and cats that loved it and hated it .but i wont force on a critter any more like we did when we were kids ..after the gold fish incident i decided it was better to just let the ones who seemed to like it be the ones we got high

I think that is mean, to hold an animal and blow smoke in their face I would've have to say something,,, and maybe even piss somebody off. I don't even want to hang out with somebody like that. I have a horse who eats it but he won't hang out with you long if you fire it up. He doesn't like smoke at all. I have another horse who won't leave you alone when he smells reefer burning, he seems to like it and sure I'll blow some his way if I'm outside smoking but I would never, never hold any animal's head to blow smoke in their face. Well just my 2 cents.
