    Pruning Question

Having an oudoor plant, is it ok to keep pruning/trimming my plant even though its getting close to the flowering stage? Or will it cause the plant to delay it's flowering process? I've heard the plants go from veg to flower at the end of July.

    Pruning Question

Because I'm growing in my yard, I have to keep my plant hidden behind a makeshift barrier. I topped it awhile back to keep it low and it got bushier. Some of the branches get long so I trim or top them which has in turn made the plant even bushier. Hopefully, I'm not hurting the plant in the long run.

I like your name name. Old school and it show's your age, kind of like E-Ticket ride.....lol

Anyway, trimming off the fan leaves is not a good idea. The plant uses the fan leaves to regulate the internal temperature of the plant. If you keep cutting them then others will need to take their place and grow even larger. The internal temperature keeps rising and the plant keeps trying to regulate it with the fan leaves. You keep cutting them and the temperature rises again. Notice the cycle?

The plant is forced into repair mode and that takes energy away from producing THC. Use LST method to bend the plant and keep it low and out of site if you need to.

    Pruning Question

Thanks Zandor, I guess the term lid is gone like the laughing pot of the old days! The only reason I keep trimming the plant is because I have to keep it mobile in case someone comes over I have to move it from point A to point B. So I have to keep it somewhat condensed. Thats the price I pay for growing in my yard. Thanks again for the replies.
