I got the Juicy Jay's Watermelon flavored papers, and unfortunately only the glue tasted or smelled like anything. So the only flavor I got was in licking the papers. On top of all that, the glue was unreliable. Definitely not my favorite papers.

There is actually a technique you use to licking those papers(I know, who wants to make joint rolling complicated, I just wanna smoke it). I use to have this problem when I use JJ's at my buds house. The secret is to very lightly, and just slightly, not too much, moisten the paper. Don't overlick it, or you'll just lick the glue off.

My buddy told me that and it works. Just slightly moisten it, don't gob all over it.
