The fact is, The bombings of London and Egypt are the biggest things in the headlines these days. The people of London are forced to change their lives because of fear from more bombings. Exactly what terrorists want. It is depressing, and it is sad. The best medicine for depression and sadness, is to talk about it. I'm sorry if you don't like seeing those threads. Just simply don't read them. And if it bothers you THAT much, maybe you should avoid the lounge all together. No one likes to read those kind of threads, you're not alone, but you can't do anything about them. So let it be, and worry about yourself.
