you cant compare weed with any other drug....so i guess people do other drugs because they like them as much as weed....i have no idea if that made sense to you....it did to me but im stoned....

and i also meant to say alot of people here like to experiment with drugs....sensibly or not....but there are a lot of people who just smoke weed and not even tobacco (if they canb help it)

The last figure I heard is that around 10% of people who smoke move onto other drugs, whereas 90% of people on harder drugs started with weed. Its a great manipulation of facts that gateway theory, isnt it? Might as well say aspirin is a gateway drug since Im sure 10% of people who take aspirin use harder drugs.

And this may not get me many fans here...but minors posting about smoking bud doesn't help the legalize marijuana campaign much either. -shrugs-






Intellectually I would say no. However, I really understand your inner conflict over this. I got in BIG trouble when I was in HS for smoking weed, I quit for about 3 months and then started again. I was just much sneakier the second time around. However, I wouldn't risk the humiliation of failing a drug test if it had come to that...

Why dont you be clean for a few months, prove to your parents that you respect them and their wishes, and then when the heat dies down a little see how you're feeling about it then? And if you decide to smoke again I would just make damn sure that my parents would NEVER find out.

Just keep your grades up and don't get caught toking up... I mean you'll still flunk the pee tests but eventually they will loose intrest in flipping out about it as long as you don't give them anything else to bitch about... or you'll turn 18 after 3 years and it won't matter anyway

When my parents caught me I was allready 19. They still freaked out a bit but I just changed the subject every time they brought it up shrugged off whatever they had to say and eventually they quit buggin me about it. I am sure I'm still talked about behind my back but fuck it, I don't care what they think or say. I am happy with my life, my wife and daughter are great, and anyone else can go fuck themselves. haha

my mom found out that i was smoking weed when i was about 14 i think. i tried to hide it alot up until i was about 17 then i just basically told her that i was going to keep doing it and that was that. i still smoke today.
