good camping spots?
I would agree with Onward's initial suggestion. If your looking for a relatively nearby place with some topography, tall trees, and a clear lake, I would recommend Lake Murray in OK. It's just north of the state line and is an easy hour drive +/-. But beware of the Okie Smokies.
NativeTX Reviewed by NativeTX on . good camping spots? Howdy, does anyone know of some good places to camp not too far from DFW? I'm thinking maybe an hour to an hour and half away tops. I'm looking for somewhere far enough away from a road that I won't be hearing traffic, and where I won't run into many people, preferably none. I want somewhere that lacks power, bathrooms, and all that stuff. Thanks for any help. Rating: 5
