i also heard that, although significantly not as much as the female, the male DOES produce an amount of THC..

Most of us will tell you that are you to wait before you
start cutting buds off of a plant ..because of the simple
fact that your not giving it enough time to grow and the
smoke isn't as good as it would be when it finishs the life
cycle stage so.i wouldn't cut it just yet

as for male plants ..most of us never even bother with them
we just throw them away and do not smoke them because of
the thc count being so low it might give you enough of a high
if you smoke a enough of it ..but when ever i smoked a male
all i got was a headache from it so it's not recommanded that
you smoke a male plant

with the female leaves you can do alot things with them but our
main concern is the bud of course ..maybe you should look oh how
to make "Hash

you could smoke the males leaves but do not expect a high because the thc the male contains is not enough to get a high you could make the tea for taste but not for a high and you can smoke the leaves of a female but i would only due that if they were covered in crystals and the best time to smoke is after a harvest but if you want to sample it i would say in the middle of the flowering stage umm not sure about all my info but other people will help

The stems and shit like that just puncture your screens and produce no hash. When making hash...from what I gather...you want the trichomes off of the leaves,(thats the resin glands) and when they break free from the leaves, they gather into a sticky residue, that is the hash. Im not 100% sure about ALL of my info, but I should be very close because I posted a couple threads on hash making and got some pretty good answers. Okay, you want to smoke the buds of a female plant. Picking off your leaves will slow down growth, and cut down yeild, and stress your plant. The plant uses the nergy from those leaves, and cutting them off, you're just taking away the juice that the plant needs to grow nice, plump, potent buds.

Don't smoke the leaves at harvest time, you'll get nothing more than a headache. Take those leaves, from the female plant, toss them in the hash bin, but I suggest making oil from the leaves. Making hash you need a lot of trichs, sugar coated leaves. Using an Iso or butane run, you get ALL of the THC, well 90% of it anyways.

A male plant contains about this --->(...)<---much THC. Not worth smoking because you'd have to smoke a TON of it, I'm talking like 6 FATTIES to catch a buzz, headache inducing, and will give you a bad taste in your mouth. The pollen sacks are NOT Thc, they are pollen, not smokeable.

Stick to smoking the buds, having patience, and use the leaves and trimmings for making hash and oil, then you can smoke it.

even if you make hash or anything you desire out of your crop just make sure you take your time ..i see so many growers get so impatient with their
grows ..they end picking off all the bud and sit there and wonder why the strain isn't as powerful as the ladies grow next door

Exactly. I remeber my first grow, I was so excited to smoke it so I cut early. I was SO dissapointed with the potency, it was shit! Don't let all your hard work go to waste by cutting early, trust me, it's not worth cutting early, you'll just be let down.
