Just found out that Tommy Chong is performing locally tonight and tomorrow. Made a call, and I've got two primo tickets for tonight's performance! I worked the post-performance party room for Cheech and Chong back in the day at one performance, and I'm thrilled to get to see his act again. I understand that his wife Shelby is now his performing partner.

Gonna be a great night!!!!

ok stonekilluh, that is quite enough. take a couple days off and chill...when you come back you'll feel much better about yourself and others and will hopefully play better with other members...if not you'll be gone for a longer period of time.

The show I worked was way back in the late 70's. When Cheech and Chong walked into the backroom area, they were acting completely straight, EXTREMELY nice to everyone, polite, about as good a pair of guys as you could hope to meet. As soon as they went on stage, it was like a total transformation into character. Then when they came backstage again after the show, the transformation went into reverse.

After the performance, they came backstage for juice and water....and who knows what else. They didn't stay too long, but they were really good guys to everyone.

I couldn't scrounge front row seats for tonight, but we'll be close. It should be a great show! Wish you could join us!
