Idea I had last time I got high-Political

The thing is, getting people that have the true enterest of the people in the government. I agree that really harmfull things like cocain and heroin, should be illegalised because people kill others for it (atleast that is what I see), but we should be free to make our own choices like whether we wish to toke or not, the same thing with drinking. It seems to me that drinking and smoking is alot more harmfull and addictive to a person than smoking weed, so why not make them illegal. A)because the gov't is making money off of it B) because weed would put the oil barons out of business. Think about it, most politicians in office have atleast a small share in oil, it is in there best interest to keep anything that can threaten that from being readly available. It would be good to have a revolution and reform the nation, but I think that a level head pot smoker who doesn't let it control his life could be good politician. I mean most of the people in office are probably coke heads any way, and more than likely they also got a hand in the drug (weed, coke, heroin etc....) market and are making money off of it being so pricy. Any way you look the will make profit and thats all they care about. What the problem is, is the mind set that society has seemed to develop, and we all un-knowingly or knowingly do it, and that is to say if it doesn't bother me then I don't care. We are all in a trap that is about to be springed and were all about to be fucked over in a way that we can't even imagine. So in the case of having pot heads in the office, maybe the ideal of government that we have now may collapse but then again the people would have more say in what is going on and maybe more consideration for others. Just my 2-cents.

It was cool. So my political idea started off with me just talking to this girl about stuff that I don't like that much. We started talking about the current state of the American government and Bush. I came up with the idea that we should re-elect Bush. Sounds like paradox, right?
