    Deep movies

    'Sup y'all!

What deep movies do you guys like? I watched Donnie Darko yesterday for the first time which I know is a pretty popular "deep" movie. I just need my girlfriend to explain it to me !

The same night I watched the sequel to Ghost in the Shell ('Innocence'). WOAH , mad film and deeper then deepness itself. It's my favourite deep film.

The deep meaning of this deep thread was to highlight how strange the word deep sounds when you repeat it to yourself in your head. I was also interested in any deep films that have deeply moved you or perhaps deeply entertained you. They may have also featured an actor deeply close to you, such as Johnny Deepp! (enough)

Sorry, i'm not even stoned. I have no excuse. List your favourite deep films and why you like them. (countdown theme music begins)

Edit: And check out my new tune. It's deep! Cheers!

Wild Strawberries changed my life. It's a huge reason as to why I started weed, and it started a transformation of my outlook on life. There are thousands of "don't be so serious have fun in life films," but this one meant something. I don't know what it was but something hit so close to home with it.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind provoked which I just saw for the first time this pas weekend provoked some intersting thoughts about "soul mates." I don't know if I buy any of it, but interesting.

Momento has a similar feel to the movie as eternal sunshine, but I liked momento alot more.

Fight club was real good the first time I saw it, now it seems a bit cheesy. I don't know if thats because I've seen it so many times, or if it lacked something special from the beginning and I was simply immature in my film tastes.

Amelia is great if you can get a copy of it with the subtitles. Another "self discovery" movie, but I think that is a pretty deep topic, maybe the deepest of all. Of coarse presentation is everything, amelia does a good job at this.

Requiem for a dream always leaves me thinking for days, so you may call it deep. It's plot is not overly complex, but the theme of the movie is pretty intersting (loss of ambition/dreams).

I guess thats enough for now.

if you say any word over and over it will lose all meaning....lol
i watched donny darko again last night for the 5th time and i have to say when i first watched it i was like wow, but after seeing "what the bleep do we know" and watching it a couple more times, it was to unreal and left tooo many questions un answered...i mean did his parents and little sister die??? and how the fuck did he at the end of the movie go back in time...it just cut from one scene to the next..and the whole thing aobut your destony already being lade out before you, i think is bull, that why we have choices and make mistakes, why people end up dead..

the space odysee tho boring as hell was deep
what dreams may come left me thinking for hours

there alot more but i gotta go blaze
