Toping my plant -- Where To CutIt all depends on your height situation, how much space you got as far as height? If you have a lot of space cut close to the top, if not, cut closer to the bottom.

Toping my plant -- Where To CutI would cut at about 4 nodes down(from top), and make sure you cut so that the plant will split. Make sure that your cut is ABOVE a node for then the secondary limbs will form a "V", causeing you to have two tops. Originally Posted by Vaporizer Originally Posted by Vaporizer

Toping my plant -- Where To CutYou need to top one of them down at the dirt line level....

Well if you're gonna go for it, go for it.

If cloning, take if down 4 nodes...if not...top the top right there at the newest growth. right there at the newest growth.

Hell you can top every top you see on the plant too...

Toping my plant -- Where To CutBut DON'T...
Don't cut your plant in half...isn't it outdoors...if it is there are no space limitations cause at this time of year that plant isn't going to get that much bigger!
If you want the secondary growth to start growing all you have to do is cut the top node off so the 2 branches directly below it start growing as your new tops and the rest of the branches will grow quickly while top is stunted...you can get the same effect by tying the top down below the top of the plant...this releases a hormone that makes the side branches grow because the top is no longer at the top, the plant needs a new top.Every post I make is purely fictional.
