I personally don't think Beeble is very objective in his moderation. He let's his personal feelings dictate who gets banned and what threads get closed. I think a mod should be like a boxing referee. Whether the ref likes Tyson or likes Holyfield shouldn't matter. He should take a neutral stance on the issues and people and moderate according to what is right or wrong.

That being said, when he's not moderating, Beeble does have some of the most useful and informative posts seen on this board. So.....

On topic: I have no problem with Beeble. I'd much rather a mod who actually moderates what the heck is going on around here, than a mod who is only one in title and doesn't even contribute to the forums.

The only people who vouched for me that matter as far as Ron's decision was concerned were the other mods. And none of them have complained, that I'm aware of. Certainly Ron has had no problem with me.

Look, folks. Nobody can ever be 100% objective, but I try. It's also impossible to please everyone, and I know better than to even bother trying. I've put a considerable amount of time and effort into keeping this board a peaceful place, free of outright assholes, bigotry and just overall bad vibes. If some don't appreciate that, well, there's not, much I can do about it.

He is a bit of a wise-ass, but hey, so are a lot of people on this board.

I think people get annoyed 'cause he tends to get 'wise' while he moderates, which can seem a little unfair. I don't personally mind, half the time he has a good reason to lock or move stuff and i've only ever seen him put down Nicholass (which wasn't necessarily a moderating issue at the time).
