Please let me point out that the test you will take at Quest is indeed 2 part. THe 1st pare, the initial screen, is an immunoassay test with a THC cutoff of 50ng/mL. If and only IF a drug panel is possitive, then a second conformation test will be done using GC/MS. Don't get confused with the cutoff levels being differant. The initial screen is detecting all 31 THC metabolites and thus has a cutoff total count of metabolites at 50ng/mL. THe GC/MS is only counting 1 for the THC metabolites, THC-COOH. That is why it has a lower cutoff of 15ng/mL. THC-COOH make up aprox 1/3 of the total number of THC metabolites, so the 2 terst are roughly equal.
Next, you said that the bottle you bought holds 3.5ml amd the test requires 3ml. Labs require diffreant amounts for differant test. Some non-DOT require 30ml, others 60ml and DOT test require 45ml. I found out that I had a test with questdiagnostics, and since I knew my test type: GC/MS ( A test that is considered 100% accurate, because it tests for 10 different drug groups and is done in 2 steps) So I decided to research the company, and found out list information on how accurate the test is, what will mess it up (nothing for marijuana), and other good information to know before you go.
