I started cannabis before alcohol and havnt quit either one, but I drink more than I smoke cuz I run track.

im not quite sure for everyone but for me i smoked first...then drank, but i dont like dirnking all the time. Ill smoke all the time but drinking i dunno it just aint for me.

i drank first, and although i haven't quit alcohol after discovering the beauty of weed i did definately slow down on alcohol by far. and i drink beer way more than liqour, when i drink beer it's because i enjoy the relaxing effects it can have (not a whole shit load but you know, you work your ass off one day it's nice to have a few cold ones to pop open and just sit down on the couch and watch tv, and on your run to get you the third one (this is of course if you don't have a wife to do it for you because they are empathetic of their man and want to be nice once in awhile) get you something to eat all the whiel still haven't getting out of your work clothes...then take a nice hot shower and lay around the house for the rest of the day......sorry for the rambling but a freind of mine just brought me 10 bars and a half oz (taking for herself a bar and 5 grams or so) for 35 dollars (and i had taken another trazadone and a beer about 3 hours before hand hand)

Used to drink shit loads of spirits when I was really young but I've been so wrecked on most of them I can't stand the taste, and the occasional beers alrite but I get hangovers to easy and act like an asshole when i'm drunk. Weed just keeps me chilled and refreshed the morning after.
So I wouldn't say i've quit drinking I just cut down an awful lot.

I've cut down on drinking since I started smoking, I don't normally like to drink and smoke on the same night and I prefer being stoned to being drunk.
