Newly aquired plants
Ok, some questions. When I put the plants into their seperate bucket homes, one of them was left with about half soil in a 5 gallon bucket. When I go to get the third plant, should I just fill another bucket up, put the low soil plant in there, then do the third plant? Should I stop this transplanting madness and just let it grow?
What's the worst that will happen, just a smaller plant?
And also, how do I choose between topping and bending? I like that one technique where you leave about 10% and up to 8 branches grow in it's place. I'm a bit weary about chopping up my babies, though.
You know, maybe I'll try different things on different plants. Anyway I'll take some pictures of the two today, they should be looking very nice so far.
Peace.subver Reviewed by subver on . Newly aquired plants Ok so my brother had these plants and didn't really take care of them so he gave em to me. I dug two up and transplanted them into one bucket (i needed to get the plants immediately and only had this available). Anyway they seemed to perk right up soon after, and even seemed to grow right away. Here they are 2 days ago (i just put them in their seperate pots today). I'll post more images as they grow up.
