    What happens when you die?

again as stated in another post if there is no afterlife, consciousness etc how do you explain ouija boards and they things that can happen with them.
I have done them several times with friends and alone and know that they cannot be just in my mind.
There is more than this life.

    What happens when you die?

Those were spirits that were probably moving the planchette on the ouija board. Besides if you do use one, you're opening a portal to the spirit world, and you don't know what kind of spirit you might get. Evil spirits are everywhere and in the spirit world as well, so you might want to be vary carefull with these kinds of things. Any psychic, or spiritual activity that you do or partake in, spirits will be attracted to your energies, such as playing with the ouija board. If you or one of the people involved in playing with a ouija board start having weard thoughts, feelings, hear noises and voices, or have bruzes, bite marks, and scratches on your body, that might be a sign of possession. You can also experience paranormal phenomena, such as things flying across the room, lights turning off or on, and doors opening and closing by themselves. If you're going to continue this activity, I'd suggest that you do some kind of protection rituals. Just be vary careful with the ouija board, because these evil spirits and demons will not hesitate in fucking your world up.

Oh come on, Ouija boards? If spirits could really interact with the physical universe, they'd be able to move the planchette themselves.

    http://www.funerals.org/faq/embalm.htm

Embalming is a physically invasive process in which special devices are implanted, and chemicals and techniques are used to give an appearance of restful repose

wonders what the mind thinks of that
where is ya soul when that happens

    What happens when you die?

I beleive in the 7 levels of existance.
were you reincarnate time and time again till you have learned the lessons you needed to learn.
then Graduate to the next level/sphere/plain of existance. eventually returning to the Creator.
I beleive the Lowest level of spirituality Is the earthly realm.
once your spirit has learned what it has to you Move beyond the Veil and so on..
    again another Guess..???..

    Hi ermitonto.
I have tried it on my own as well as well as with trusted people and i can tell you for sure it was not me moving it.
Go and try one then come back and tell me you were not worried...
This will always be debated with sceptisicm and I would not expect less all i know is I have tried it and will never try it again.
PS dont need protection spells as have been fully confirmed by the church (Yes I am a Christian). This is protection enough.
    (Waits to be flamed)

That won't happen, I hope. Prayer might be good, but that, and protection rituals or spells are safety mesures for dealing with spirits.

I'm not going to flame you (ad hominem arguments are worthless). I'm just saying...fingertips moving a planchette over letters, and only working when the players of the game aren't blindfolded, just isn't overwhelming evidence for me. People's expectations can be very powerful. I'm skeptical to accept things that claim to contact some sort of "spirit world" without claiming to have a comprehensive theory on how it works. I'd be more convinced if I were presented with scientific mechanics behind how this board game supposedly connects events in this physical universe with a transcendential parallel universe of non-matter, non-energy "soul stuff". You know, something we could recreate in a laboratory and prove to the satisfaction of the scientific community that this is indeed what is going on. There must be some explainable mechanical secret behind contacting this parallel universe, some reason why the living human brain can access it and channel it into changes in our physical universe, but something inorganic like a rock couldn't.

I see human fingertips moving a device to create intelligible messages (when not blindfolded), but that does not necessarily imply that a transcendental parallel universe of non-matter, non-energy "soul stuff" exists that is somehow only accessible through the "power of the human mind". Saying that this undetectable parallel universe of "soul stuff" is controlling the planchette through the human minds involved is an unfalsifiable hypothesis, and thus scientifically unverifiable. Occam's Razor would suggest that if we can explain things while not making unverifiable, extravagant claims (such as this undetectable parallel universe), we ought to. Intelligible messages coming from intelligent beings is nothing surprising. If the spirits could move the planchette on their own, that'd be something! But it seems the only matter and energy they can modify in our universe is limited to the brains of (non-skeptical, non-blindfolded) humans for some reason.

In the meantime, you might want to try researching how and where in the brain this parallel universe supposedly coincides with our own. I would be fascinated to see how matter and energy in the brain's neural network could be manipulated by forces outside the laws of physics.

Me too, so im not going to dismiss it as a possibility. After all there may be up to 26 dimensions.

Ever heard of the string theory.
