Hi peeps,

I was just wondering if some1 could tell me when ya know your plant has gone from seedling to vegetative stage. I've been looking around on here 4 an answer but can't seem to find anything. Any help would be much appreciated

Depends whom you ask.

For me veg state starts the second it head pops outta the ground.

For hydro and bubblers, seedling stage can run 3 weeks.

I think its a matter of interpretation.

Technically, I guess veg state could start once the sex has been dertemined.....which is somewhere between weeks 3 and 4.

Once sexx is set, then the real veg takes place....

But again, Once the little fuckers pop outta the soil.....I treat them as vegging.

I will be easier on the light and wind for a few days but thats about it for me.

Zandor listed his interpretation somewhere around here...perhaps he'll chime in and give you his.....I "THINK" he said three weeks for seedling stage.

But i may have been stoned.

I was getting a bit confused with wot the seedling stage is. I think I'll count it the way u do. The seedling stage for me will be when it is actually a seed & it's still hiding under the soil cos that seems to make sense. The veg stage will be as soon as they sprout.

I messed up my 1st attempt & only 1 seed popped up. She's now 10 days old & doing well. I think I planted the seeds 2 deep, so I restarted some other seeds about 5 days ago. Hope these pop up soon. The loner plant will obviously be ahead of the rest when they pop up, but that'll be cool.
