Once month drunk.

I know this isn't about pot, but it's still about partying, so I'll add it for the fuck of it.

I started drinking when I was 15, (Same time as weed), and drank a ton for a few months, until I stopped being friends with my buyer. After that, I stopped for a couple of months, then began drinking once in awhile again.

In 02/2005, the lack of a job started getting to me, so I picked up the drinking habit, and drank like a fish for about two weeks straight. I stopped due to a suicide attempt.

In 04/2005, my dad died from a long battle with heart disease, and I embraced drinking like it was going out of style. Every day for roughly a month, I was drunk. It got to the point where my friends wouldn't buy it for me, and I've not drank that regularly again. Maybe once in awhile at a party, but not alone, and not when I'm in a weird mood, (Shit gets broken that way). I don't regret most of the things I did when I was drinking; none of them were really that bad, except the suicide attempt. That's in the past now, so once I turn 21, I'll drink every day.

PS: My mother is an alcoholic, and I probably have those tendencies in me.

I would suggest... don't drink ever again. If your mother has alcoholistic tendencies, then you could have them too. It's already bad that you have to drink after something bad happens... that can lead to alcoholism. I'm not meaning to preach to you, so if that's how it sounds, I'm sorry. I'm just letting you know. Drinking can be a dangerous habit. Just smoke instead. It's more fun anyways.

don't become an alcoholic. my dad is an alcoholic and its not the best thing ever, it tears my family apart and i dont really know the real dad much anymore just the drunk dad. my friends dad is a stoner and its not nearly as bad for him plus being stoned is just so much more fun dude.

My mom has problems with alcohol and it really fucked up both out lives. For the sake of all of the children of alcoholic parents here, don't fuck with it. My dad has been a stoner for upwards of 30 years and he turned out good. Stick with weed, alcohol fucks with you.
