I have read here from Zandor where I think he advises 10/14 for the first week...then 12/12 thru harvest...i think....

I only advise the 10/14 for the final week....

you can do it for the last couple of weeks....ONLY...if you have to hurry it up for some reason.

Other than that, I say 12/12 for the entire flower stage....10/14 last week, and then total dark for 24 - 36 hours right before the day the ladies meet their fate.

Thanks dude,great information there I must say...I am doing the sea of green,under 1000w HPS looking for lots of resin lol...first time ever attempting the sea of green method as well as my first time flowering with a 1000w HPS.looking for juicy fat cola's lol.....I got 16 blue berry,12 shiva's not sure which strain 10 ultra black cambodian,I believe she is a hash plant! 10 widow,and another 8 from bag seed don't know the strain from the bag seed but have been clong her now for the last year or more she is a kick ass plant........

O'k cool I'll get some pics together,as soon as I get the brothers didge camera again lol,in a couple of days or so....they are only in flower now about 13 days ,lots of pistols with the white hairs lol,they are all clones by the way,I have mothers for all my strains.........The Blueberry and the cambodian are gone nuts lol,they already doubled in size in the last 13 days,Hope they slow down a little lol,then again maybe not lol,I guess where I am doing the sog with several different strains I might have my hands full,because some of the strains are out growing the smaller strains....either way my Grow room is blocked with green ,it's everywhere..

H.D. how long are those colas? In addition to speeding up the ripening of flowers, I offer another technique. 2 tbs confectionous sugar/gal water 3weeks before supposed finishing time. Also sweetens smoke. saves a week. Adding sugar to early will delay flowering.

Have you ever tried the sugar personally?

The Main Kola is about 17" long....

Two others are now about 13"

One is 13" also, but has a bare spot at about 7" below so it doesnt count.

Dam thats big. No, not personally, but Im going to try it this time. I read it in a book by Tom Flowers which is dedicated strictly to the flowering phase of MJ.

Here are some updated pics of WHORE...

I think her power systems are stabilizing.....rate of regression seems to have peaked....will resume bombardment with the UV Rays tonight....

Lower growth still bright green...healthy and no frizzing....so all appears to have gone as hoped... (WHEW!)

I think if I had gone one more leaf she might have bit the dust....but i love to push the envelope in all things anyhow....

I dont recommend this procedure of fan leaf removal for the faint of heart.....

But look.....it can be done

Now on the close up pic of the bud......note how the immediate trichs have begun to plaster themselves on the flower pods themselves...

which is really the only thing I care to smoke...in addition to the hairs

not long now.....

I am going to Jamaica on the 4th of August.....so she will be drying....

Gotta setup an auto dry system now......

just wish the world was a friendlier place that would let me cart around my grow closet as I deemed neccessary
