ok, start menu -> run -> regedit

you are now in the windows registry

start at "my computer"
go to the folder "HKEY_CURRENT_USER"
under that go to the subfolder "Software"
under that go to the subfolder "Microsoft"
under that go to the subfolder "Internet Explorer"
under that go to the subfolder "Toolbar"

ok, in the right side of the screen you should see something that says "LinksFolderName"

double click on this and a box will pop up with the title "Edit String"
Leave the "value name :" as is
Delete whatever is in "value data :" leave it blank

That should solve your problem
