    Favourite coffeeshop in Amsterdam?

Just wondering which are the most popular coffeeshops in Dam. I 've got a few i really like but i have to say the Barneys is my favourite place to actually get weed(cos it's shit hot!!!) and just as long as its not to busy its a great place to eat breakfast and smoke the first joint of the day.
personally my favourite time to go there is straight from the airport(when we fly early) to get in there around opening time (7am) when its empty get a nice table have a fat munch then smoke a big old zoot, which sets us up for for the weekend of pure smoking!!! (damn i wish i was there now, i love Amsterdam!!!)

Show her the brochures of the Anne Frank house, the Rembrandt museum, the canals, and the beautiful rural scenery. You can also see Germany from there, take a boat ride into the sea, and it's a really great place. And they have the largest flower warehouse with daily auctions sending flowers all over the world. It's cool to watch......especially after an hour or two at a coffeeshop.

You've got to do some selling on this idea mate.

The other posters are right - there's a lot to do there. You can also ride the trains for day trips to Utrecht , http://www.holland.com/utrechtprov/gb/, the Hague, or other places in Holland. You can find coffee shops in the other cities, also. Many great musical artists play in Holland, and getting tickets is easy.

Sure, it's great to be able to legally blaze - but don't sell Holland short as a good vacation spot for other reasons.

Personally, I loved just walking around, people watching, seeing the van Gogh paintings, etc. The van Gogh museum alone is worth the trip.

They haven't ruined the landscape by building tall structures - so it's still very "old world" there.

For people that just want to relax on a beach, then I guess you could do better.
