Thatâ??s the idea behind communist the people donâ??t get a say. They could not have made the decision it was made for them.

I served myself, I signed up for money for college and because they paid for the gas for me to fly. I did my duty and honored my commitment. I even spent another year working for another branch of the government outside the US. I had no grand gesture in mind, but then we were the ones doing the attacking and not being attacked at that time. Times are different and this time they are given the respect and honor due the serving military. When you serve you have no opinion you follow orders period. Most of the serving solders are weekend warriors who join the reserves for money. They never thought they would see real action but now they are. Yes I have a lot of friends over there and no they are not happy but they are doing their duty. Their families are suffering at home but they are doing their duty. Just to put thing into perspective. The soldiers have no choice just follow orders and thatâ??s the way it is. Some did start out with altruistic motives but that soon fades when you watch your friendâ??s blow up just for giving candy to children. Or they get shot for just being there. They did not want to go over there none of them did. Nobody in their right mind does, trust me.

You must forget it was Bush SR. that placed him in power in the first place. Bush Sr. signed contracts to build oil refineries once he was in power. Then Saddam changed his mind and wanted more money, and we gave it to him. Saddam is our fault.

The French had contracts signed with Saddam for them to buy and control the oil. The sitting government had to be removed to break those contracts. We blew up the oil pipes by design, how else could Halliburton rebuild them. Remember the secret contracts Dick Chaney signed before we were even told we were going to war. The same company he ran before he took the VP job, I wonder if there is a connection there?

Really we did not join in the war as quick as you are think we did. For well over a year we turned out backs. Thatâ??s why the French still hate us. They asked for our help and we turned out back on them and the Germans moved in and took over. Same story with the Greeks they asked and we did nothing. The Turks had access to oil and land mass large enough for military basis and were willing to sell it to us cheep.
History is written by the winners and is not always the true story.

True he did kill thousands or people. What about the Africa? More children are killed there everyday still today.
We as Americans were told we are going into Iraq because â??they are supporting Terrorist and have Weapons of mass destructionâ?ť. That all turned out to be a lie. There are no Weapons of mass destruction and the only tie to terrorist is because we forced it. They aligned themselves with Bin laden only after we attacked them not before as Bush said.
Donâ??t start bragging about our Human rights records, what about the Native American Indians we killed because we wanted their land. We were the first to use biological weapons too ageist the Indians and the first to use the A-Bomb as well. 2 wrongs donâ??t make a right.
Iraq is noting but money, power and oil in that order. The solider on the ground dieing every day is due his respect by all means. Itâ??s the leaders of our country that should be ashamed of them self. We have not learned from out past mistakes in history and we will not learn from this one either. The winners write the history.
Yes we did help to free France but only after the Germans seized them in the first place. We were not as quick on the gun as you are saying we were.
