I'm convinced unless you are VERY skilled with a knife you don't pose any real threat to an attacker or in this case thief. Now weather you can impose added fear with the knife is a different story. I think if you add pepper spray into the situation you have become very empowered.

As for the dude who stole the bong, he deserves whatever you can dream up... think big.
