Anyway, I was stoned and was so annoyed by your post that I didn't feel it justified a decent response, which I admit, was stupid in itself.

Basically I was offended because I think nobody would be considered unnattractive if we all just realised how beautiful we all are.. I mean, if a person is overweight or 'ugly' then fair enough, you might not be attracted to that person sexually, but personally I couldn't give two shits. I love a good looking woman as much as the next guy, but I never (or at least try not to...) judge people by their appearance, and if I ever do then I imediately shrug it off and put it out of my mind, because I would know that my preconception is probably a misconception.

It would be awesome if everybody was naked all of the time - besides the erect nipples and shriveled wangs (funny how that works, huh?) in the winter - because the majority of people make their decision about others within the first few seconds of meeting them, and alot of that is based on what they are wearing and how they are wearing it (ie, scruffy, dirty, tidy, smart). If we got rid of this than people would have to get to know people as people.

If you were to meet an overweight person now (say at work or whatever) would you constantly be thinking about their weight? For how long; every time you met them or just the until you grew used to it? Think about if that person was naked... of course that would shock you now and, given your attitude toward overweight people, I imagine you would find it hard not to be 'offended' (though I find this hard to understand..) but if everybody was naked all the time would their nakedness not lose it's novelty? Would you not just grow accustomed to it? On the same point, if everybody was naked all of a sudden than alot of people would be either turned on or self conscious (or both) alot of the time, but eventually the novelty would wear off and people would get used to being in this natural state... I imagine alot of men would stop treating woman as pieces of meat and only wanting to get under their clothes, and people would learn to lighten up and not treat the human body as something to be ashamed of.

This, to me, would be perfect.
Fair enough. That really is an open-minded idealogy. But I find it pretty improbable in our culture. We are taught to be judgemental of others (by the media more than anything), especially of the body. People are conditioned to feel bad about bulges, body hair, cellulite, acne, varicose veins, sagging, drooping, wrinkles, swelling...anything short of perfection pretty much. So in a society such as ours (I assume you are American...correct me if Im wrong) where we are judged for possessing any and all of those flaws, out of bitterment and self-hatred it's hard to not also judge others for the very things we judge of ourselves.

Am I saying it's a good thing or acceptable to be so judgemental? Absolutely not. But we're talking about human being's here who are biased and judgemental instinctually. The original poster seemed to want honest answers, and I answered truthfully to the best of my ability as far as my personal feelings go. If my answers annoyed you, I really dont know what to say other than I was being honest. I'm sorry you didn't appreciate the honesty. I dont like that I have these judgements either, but I consider myself someone who is very loving, caring, and non-judgemental of others for the most part. I believe moreso than the average person. That's why I feel that if I am uneasy with the idea of public nudity, and am put off by people flopping around naked...then I really dont see nudity being acceptable anytime soon in our overly and openly critical society.

I thank you, though, for taking the time to post your thoughts in an nonaggressive and mature fashion. It gave me a better idea as to your point of view and where you were coming from.

Do you all belive that nudity is socially acceptable or complely taboo?

How often do you take the chance to be nude?

And if you do spend time nude do you care if other people see you even if it's in your own home?

Here's my awnsers but don't let them reflect on what you have to say.

I think nudity is completley acceptable. I like to be nude whenever possible as it is more comfortable than your baggiest pair of clothes could ever be.
And I don't really care if other people see me nude (except children) because they got the same equipment I do. In closing I think that if your uncomfortble with seeing people nude than your uncomfortable with yourself.
    Sup Zero,
I think those those who like being nude just dont give a fack. It's great they're obiously happy or just really horny.

I didn't mean to call you or your post stupid.. it just annoyed me because I automatically you were one of those people who are only hung up on what people look like, and they really piss me off.

We all have prejudices, and we're all judgemental sometimes... so as much as I disagree with where what you're saying (regards to nudity..) I can see where you're coming from also..

    **shakes hands with Ousted**

Welcome to the boards, by the way!
