Yes, when people first see other nude people they often get aroused, because nudity is linked to sex within our culture. You hardly see naked people outside of porn and sexual encounters, so your mind gets aroused anytime you see nudity, like you would get aroused by eating chocolate if you ate chocolate every time you had an orgasm. But as anyone who's ever spent time at a nudist retreat can tell you, that goes away as you get used to seeing people as they are.

I dance under the moon bare ass naked and full of dreams....
Don't really care..what others think.
Nah jk...
I don't care one way or the other..it would be a perfect world, but on the other hand it wouldn't. You have to look at both sides of all points here. I personally only walk around naked at my apartment.

Thoughts On Nudity
I have no problem with public nudity if it is in a place where it is accepted. There are tons of clothing optional beaches out here in California and everytime I go the only thing I wear is sunscreen. Lots and lots and lots of sunscreen
You do see all types of bodies there, from terribly flabby to terribly hot. For most people, however, its just about being at the beach and enjoying the sun, nabout watching other people so it doesn't matter what anyone else looks like. And, like ermitonto said, once you get used to seeing others nide it stops being about sex and fears about walking around with a stiffy soon go away.

I'm with mlleyeuxbleus.....good post
1. I don't think it is socially acceptable in the society we have right now, but we have a rather puritanical society
You are so right!!
I see nothing wrong with being nude, at home or in your yard. It would depend on the circumstance. It is not practical to walk around town nude and I don't want to eat in a cafe with a nude person bringing my food. yuck.
I love to sit at computer in my PJ top and panties.. its great. I have been to nude beaches it is no big deal.
I think too much emphasis is put on nudity. Like when Asscroft had the breast of Venus covered because it offended him.
I have seen moms cover their kids eyes if breasts or an ass is shown on TV but these same mom's have no problem letting thier kids see a man literally shot to pieces in RoboCop. lol
Don't you find it stupid when they blur the ass crack on TV shows !!
Have you noticed that lately? It is so stupid! Last time I checked we all have an ass crack.
I don't think nudity means SEX...that's the view of overly hormonal teens and prudish old timers....

Basically I was offended because I think nobody would be considered unnattractive if we all just realised how beautiful we all are.. I mean, if a person is overweight or 'ugly' then fair enough, you might not be attracted to that person sexually, but personally I couldn't give two shits. I love a good looking woman as much as the next guy, but I never (or at least try not to...) judge people by their appearance, and if I ever do then I imediately shrug it off and put it out of my mind, because I would know that my preconception is probably a misconception.
It would be awesome if everybody was naked all of the time - besides the erect nipples and shriveled wangs (funny how that works, huh?) in the winter - because the majority of people make their decision about others within the first few seconds of meeting them, and alot of that is based on what they are wearing and how they are wearing it (ie, scruffy, dirty, tidy, smart). If we got rid of this than people would have to get to know people as people.
If you were to meet an overweight person now (say at work or whatever) would you constantly be thinking about their weight? For how long; every time you met them or just the until you grew used to it? Think about if that person was naked... of course that would shock you now and, given your attitude toward overweight people, I imagine you would find it hard not to be 'offended' (though I find this hard to understand..) but if everybody was naked all the time would their nakedness not lose it's novelty? Would you not just grow accustomed to it? On the same point, if everybody was naked all of a sudden than alot of people would be either turned on or self conscious (or both) alot of the time, but eventually the novelty would wear off and people would get used to being in this natural state... I imagine alot of men would stop treating woman as pieces of meat and only wanting to get under their clothes, and people would learn to lighten up and not treat the human body as something to be ashamed of.
This, to me, would be perfect.
