sup ya'll, and particularly those special texans in the dallas forth worth area.
It has been a really long time since i have participated in a drum circle, and don't really know many people interested in starting one, so i thought this might be a good place to start some discussion about it.
If you don't know, a drum circle is where a bunch of people get together every once in a while somewhere, preferably outdoors around a nice fire, but a backyard or an apartment or whatever with enough space works, and people bring their drums, didjeridoos, or whatever kind of instruments you play(usually rhythm instruments) and you sit/dance/jump around the circle playing/chanting/singing etc and generally having a good time or trying to go into a trance state. Every time I've been to one it was a really good time.
So, does anyone think they might be interested in starting something like this?SomeDude Reviewed by SomeDude on . dfw drum circle sup ya'll, and particularly those special texans in the dallas forth worth area. Greetings, you might try this site, and email Phillip. I was looking for info on a drum circle since I'd never been to one, and found him on another Rainbow site. He's very kynd and extended an invitation to join him at a circle that they have every wednesday(?) I think in Dallas. I never did get back to him, to much time has passed, and I don't know if he'd even remember me
. Hope this helps and if so, please post how your experience was, I think more people should feel these 'hippie' vibes. LOL

Sounds like a lot of fun. MY friends and I have gotten together and just jammed. None of us really know 'how to play' but we just created our own beats with the bongo drums and other drums we had. It makes for a great time.
