it's ready to cut when you can't wait anymore.. :P

no it's really up to you... harvesting at different times will produce different types of high.. hopefully you've stopped giving it fertilizer.. you should water with just water for at least 2 weeks prior to harvest, this gets out the excess salts and nutrients.

if you're unsure, try cutting some now.. some a week from now.. and the rest 2 weeks from now.

The colors of the hairs are only part of the cycle of the plants life. They change color by temperature and maturity at the end of their life cycle. The only true way to know when to harvest is to view the trichomes with a 10x to 30x microscope. Mature trichome looks like a golf ball sitting on golf tee, big and round on the top. The color is clear to cloudy. Cloudy is peak for that trichome. Because there are millions of trichomes you need to harvest on the average. They will continue to mature through the drying process for a day or more. Amber color is past prime for that trichome so you are just looking for an average.

What will the high be like if you harvest say around 30% cloudy, 70% clear and no amber?

Just wondering, that is where I am at (starting week 6 of flowering)I think I am going to wait untill some just start to turn amber and shoot for like 60 - 70% cloudy. What do you think?
