Yipper, thats the only reason the U.S. watches China. Keeping a currency artificially deflated so you have a superior trade advantage has NOTHING to do with it. Yeah, how do you think GW is fixing the US economy right now? Didn't you realize that for the past few years the value of the US dollar is steadily decreasing versus every other nation's currency? That's the fastest and easiest way to fix an economy, but it's a quick fix nonetheless and ultimately it doesn't solve the problems which contributed to economic decline. Both China and tthe US are guilty of it, only the US more subtly so.
