im 18 and live in australia and am currently in my last year...i am going good atm like As and Bs and one C and i am planning to lift my workload as well. but i was wondering if smoking weed will have an effect and stop me from succeeding or succeeding to a lesser extent then i normally would. i only smoke on holidays but im just wondering...ive never smoked daily so im not sure how id turn out

itll only have an effect on your success if you let it. You just have to make sure you get a good balance ie not smoking up straight before a lesson or shit. Although it does make for a fun lesson.

pfffffffffffft. you'll be fine. my best friend asked me the same advice a week ago. he's in oz and he's doing year twelve. he's fine. balance is definatly the key. just dont be irresponsible with it and you'll be just fine.

it will, im sorry but its true. it effected my grades really bad and its happening to my mate in the year below now

It effected my grades as well. My advice, as the previous people have said, keep a good balance between schoolwork and pot. and NEVER smoke when you should working on something. Often times on reading assignments, I got stoned and read for hours. But other than that, just be conscience of how much your smoking and if there is any schoolwork you should be doing instead of smoking. I hate to turn you away from smoking, weed is really a great thing. Just be responsible with it.
