light rotation idea
would it be effective to set a light on its side, and have the plant on a rotating pad (rotates electronically) to give it equal light distributiuon?
my theory suggests that i'd be able to keep the plant closer to the light because its not at a constant cook.. when it turns from th elight it'll have time to recoop...

I suppose it would work, but the plant would not have much need to grow upwards. more than one plant means more than one rotating pedasteil. Light movers alreardy exist for this need of even light distribution and you only need one to cover multiple plants.

If u've got a big rotating round thing for a few plants I guess that would work the same as a light mover. If u don't have 1 then it's prob just easier & cheaper to get a light mover. An interesting idea though

light rotation idea
In the 60' & 70's in the US I remember seeing fake Christmas trees turning on pedestals very slowly in windows of stores. My dad even had one year, I also remember the tree falling off to once or twice. The idea is a very good one. One light off to the side of the plant will provide deep penetration and good light coverage. I just have not seen them in years.
Yes there are movers, track and circular movers on the market. But if you could build something or buy something, you could have one light 16" to the left of center and above the height of the plant. And one light 16" to the right and middle foliage you would give the plant great light penetration everywhere. As the plant turns it gets flooded with light. It will grow larger and bigger buds then lighting from the top only ever will. The yield will increase as well due to the fact that the lower parts of the plant will receive as much light as the tops and that's always a good thing.
