can I use some medicine with acinomeniphan in it along with DXM? if I take a small amount.....like 200-250 mg????

All that have dxm in it have some other shit like acinominophen or however it's spelled. So I guess I shouldn't take that otherwise I might die a long and painful death from it? However what I did find is some childrens allergy syrup that my nephew used when he was over here.
