well then fuck, maybe when a nazi-loving dictatorship-dreaming republican arnold schwarzenegger resigns and stops the farce of being a california govornor i'll view your "depressing" statement as having a little more credibility.

Believe it or not this ''super laser beam'' has appeared some 7-8 years ago into a computer game.....
the game is called Command&Conquer Tiberian Sun (westwood studios)....
the beam was called ''Ion Cannon''.....
moreover the team/nation/country that could create it was an american like nation called GDI (more like coalitin forces).....
the laser beam was directed and hit an area through satellites.....
it's a game right?
Moreover the plot/story of the game is the war that takes place between two forces fighting each other: GDI=coalition forces fighting a terrorist group (can't remember the name) over a precious mineral.......
this can happen only in a game right?
NGOS
PS.I am not an expert in energy and hi-tech matters but i believe that this weapon is possible to achieve using satellites loaded with mirrors and reflective panels (prisms) in order to reflect and direct the laser beam to the target......the energy in order to create such a strong beam could be derived by nuclear power......
