I love lucid dreaming cause you can control everything in it, cause it's all in your head. The trouble is holding onto it. It only happens when your close to waking up, so you have to fight that, and you can't fall deeper asleep, cause you'll forget it's a dream. A good trick I learned is look at your hands in the dream. This kinda stabilises it.

As for the hallucinations, yeah I get that sometimes. My last one was like a 2D video game in my head. My mind created the "levels" so I had no idea what was coming, but I could control the "character" and explore the levels. They looked like coloured bricks on a plain background, but with each passsing level the bricks changed colours. For some reason I heard myself repeating meaningless words throughout the experience. I snapped out of it pretty snappy when my friends started talking to me though.

Oh, by the way, this only happened when I ate hash, never when I smoked it. I've never eaten weed so I don't know how it compares.
