i was just wondering if anybody else enjoyed the culinary arts, as i do? i find great joy in cooking. i've always liked the idea of people eating your food and just being in awe with the mouthful of juices and flavors. another plus is, your always the first to eat...ha.

haha...thats awesome. i just recently took up the art, so i have to work with what i have for the moment. actually, i just made a delicious steak...i think it could have been better though...should of let it cook longer. lol
i couldn't be patient...i haven't eaten all day. next time, surely, i'll make a delicious meal for the family.
i'm thinking some barbequed porkchops with sauteed mushrooms and some homemade mashed potatoes.

I just started getting into cooking this year. Right now I am really into cooking simple with olive oil, butter and salt (makes damn near everything taste heavenly), and I use balsamic vinegar for sweet glazes and quick tenderizing of meats. Quick, easy and yummy! Maybe in a year or two I'll get into fancier cooking. :P I'm definitely an amateur. If you have any good recipes that aren't too complicated please feel free to share!

yeah, that's what i'm doing. once i have kids(if it happens)i'd like to be experienced in the art of cooking, that way my kids can always have dinner served at night...and what a great dinner it will be.
sometimes i wish i had a bunch of money so i could go to school forever...you know, get your degree in the subject and just know it.
if i went to a culinary school i'd probably just utilize my knowledge in my house. too many things interest me to just be held down to one.
