Need experts advice on light cycle.

Hey, Im curious of my light cycle because I am not sure to put it on the 12/12 or do an 8/8/8. I was talking to my dealer who got busted growing a while back and he told me it is better to go 8/8/8. If one of you could post back if this would help and improve the bud or just an unlegit time cycle.

    8/8/8???

8 hour intervals? that's a terrible idea.. pot needs at least 13 hours of light for the vegg cycle.. and at most 13 for flowering.. personally i stay with 18/6 until i go into 12/12...

you're simulating the change of the season.. spring and summer the days are longer.. as you get into late summer and fall the days get shorter.. telling the plant it's time to flower...

once you change a light cycle to decrease the amount of light it gets don't increase it.. unless you intend to reveg the plant.. this will cause male flowers to grow...

some say the lighting cycle isn't important.. but when you're growing indoor, it can make or break a good crop.

    Listen to Bob
and watch what you say to someone recently busted. In fact, don't let anyone around you know anything about what you do, it's your ass that's on the line if someone should get mouthy.

..... Of course? Its not like I go around my friends and scream I GROW WEED. I told my dealer because he has past growing expierence and he got caught. I can trust him, he can trust me.

Hello Joel The light cycle, I cannot add anymore to what Bob has said .............he has said it all
As for Zandor's chart/graph................sorry Zandor, it just went totally over my head

As for "trust", I once trusted someone, my ex...the father off my children, I stood by him and supported him when no one else did, I gave him "my trust".
What happened?.........He cleared off with someone else.
Where growing is concerned just be carefull, friends, people you trust can always get a little envious or just plain spitefull.

    ANyhow, moving right along.....

I can see some of the logic of an 8/8/8 grow......flower only.

    I have heard of 8 / 14 for flower....speeds harvest very fast.

But I have never tried. I have never heard of 8/8/8 either.

I'll put that one on my list and try this coming year....LORD WILLING
