You are responsible for logging out, locking your computer or otherwise protecting your account from unauthorized use. If someone uses your account to post, then you are liable for the consequences. Consider this a lesson in basic internet security. If your brother uses your account and gets banned, then YOU are banned too. Nobody wants that, so please excercise due caution in the future.
