A node is where the leaves protrude from the main stock. That's also where the sex shows first too.
A normal (but not all) plants will have 2 leaves from the main stock then grow some and then another set of leaves. That is referred to as node spacing.
Zandor Reviewed by Zandor on . Pinching Hey. I read around that an effective way of keeping your plant tiney is to pinch the plant after the 4th node. But I don't pinch it completely off, right? Can anyone give me a little more info on pinching? Rating: 5
