I've done plenty of chemicals in my life but stick to the naturals now. I've always tended to prefer them and I've been out of that scene so long I wouldn't even know where to look anymore. Plus, they are safer.

I disagree that natural drugs have the same risk factors as synthetics. Maybe if you're comparing the risk of going loo-loo on shrooms to the risk of going loo-loo on acid. But the risk of overdosing on heroin is far greater than overdosing on opium. And saying cocaine is a naturally occuring substance is just foolish. Sure it is derived from a natural source but, ultimately, so is everything.

It's hard to choose, cause on the natural side I got shrooms, mescaline and marijuana. But then on the synthetic side I have LSD, ecstasy, 2C-I. I really like shrooms though, and of course weed. I guess natural wins, hooray.

If you want to judge the safety of a drug by the what it takes to overdose you should know that nicotine is one of the deadliest poisons known to man. The tobacco in cigarettes is shit, smoking the uncured tops of a tobacco plant as the natives did could put you into a coma or kill you. Nicotine is also one of the most addictive drugs known the man.
Then of course are the natural anticholinergenic deleriants such as datura that could easily kill you, or make you go temporarily insane.

Saying cocaine is a naturally occuring substance is far from foolish, it is only the truth. Cocaine occurs naturally in the leaves of the coca plant in concentrations of up to 1%. Im not making this shit up, there is no synthesis required only an extraction.
