Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

enlighten us oh great one, why cat shit is so "awesum"
BobBong Reviewed by BobBong on . Question on vege, and flowering cycle. How long does it usually take for the vege cycle to be through, and hit the flowering cycle with a 400 watt sodium light? Anybody know? Getting ready to start my grow sometime later this month when I get the 400watt, just curious. Rating: 5

Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

    Well bob...

    Essentially all shit is fertilizer.

Some of the best shit to grow with is elephant shit...but I dont want to feed it to get the shit.

Shit is by and large the most effiecient fert there is. It already has a bacterial reaction taking place with both bifidus and dolphilus neutralizing any of the putreactive compunds...except in humans where diet has altered the balance in favor of the anaerobic tyypes.

Check with your municple human waste plant and ask them, "where does my shit eventually wind up?"

You will be told, "it generally is sold to farmers who grow feed for lot cattle and pigs."

Next time the circus comes to town, see if you want to stand in line for the animal manure give away.

Farmers line up with trucks for a block for it.

Anyhow, cat shit contains all the NPK you want, plus, various other enzymes and ammonia in pure form.

Next time you see a green lawn, you can tell the lawn with the cats cuz they have these giant dark green leaves for grass that are obviously so much more healthy patches.

I agree it could be unhealthy if around pregnent women so maybe I should have clarified that....and never use cat shit in vegetable foods....and never eat the cat shit.

But when prepping soil for use, a couple of good nuggets from a healthy cat is just what the microbes in the soil need. Study up on the effects of AMMONIA when used on plants....the results are great when applied properly.

And I am not talking a dirivitive of ammonia...shit straight from the jug.

Ole harddon here gonna do some serious experimenting next grow using some ammonia, listerine, beer and baby shampoo tonics...

Anyhow thats your answer...as best as i can explain it.

Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

HARDDON - Do you have proof of your claims? Is there a link that supports your claims about cat shit, or elephant shit? Most cow shit comes from grass, chlorophyll based diet. Most Bats shit comes from fruit and vegetables. Elephants being vegetarians would be fine (but that's only a guess).

Cats are meat eaters, dogs are meat eaters and most people are too. I am calling into question some of your claims. Please give me a link or a scientific report that supports your claim. I'm not saying it's wrong; I just want to read something else other then your ranting.
I'm sure you have done your homework and would not post inaccurate information. I would like to review your technical information. I checked my library and there is noting in there about cat shit, dog shit, people shit or even elephant shit.

For the record the wine growers here in CA anyway buy the food waste from restaurants and make compost with it. They don't buy human shit.

The manufactures who sell shit based products sterilize their product too btw.

Nobody wants methane in their garden, that would kill the plants and risk fire.

Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

not to mention manure is composted, in which the composting process creates heat and kills any bacteria.. hence.. why manure.. is safe.

going over to your cat box.. scooping out cat feces and putting it in your plant...or anywhere in your house.. is a health hazard.. i thought you had a daughter? i hope you're not scoopin cat shit into your house plants when you got a kid running around.

cat shit... of all things is not a healthy thing to be using for gardening... you put that in your soil.. it'll just burn your roots to hell(this coming from a 54 year old horticulturist hobbiest that's been gardening since he was a kid)

Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

well i know first hand that cow manure is very good fertiliser but only for flowering.....
''pissing'' the plants is also good for ready to consume Nitrogen (use only on emergencies, it worked for me one time with no problems of overfertilisation).....
just dilute a cup of warm piss on a previously sterilised 2 liter bottle of water.....
you can also use piss to create a source of co2 production (simply add 3-4 teaspoons of sugar in the bottle i described above)
other than that i agree with HARDON (hahahah) that you do not really need to fertilise the plants during vegetation if you grow them on soil.
finally what i would suggest to do (if your budget is low), is to buy a fertiliser for green plants and a flowering booster NPK:0-13-14, do the mixing and application during the flowering stage....start from 1/4 of strength and go gradually up to full strength (the recommended dosage on the bottle) towards the end of the flowering cycle.....however keep in mind that you will need to stop fertilising your plants 1-2 weeks prior harvest (usually 6-8 weeks for most strains) and start water them with ph-adjusted water up until harvest.....

    NGOS

PS. i think i've read somewhere that cat shit is toxic, but i'm not sure!

Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

Yea Zandor somewhere around here I hav the compositional breakdown of cat shit.

Have i researched and studied cat shit...? no not really.

But i do have the NPK ratios and some otheer stuff.

Allow me some time as I spent way too many hours here yesterday and today already....but I will dig it up.

I dont have a daughter bob.

No cat shit wont burn your roots either.

tell you what i will do this week....

I will plant some cat shit and capture it frame by frame and we'll show what it does.

Yea cat shit is ddirty but once under soil its contaminents are isolated. I know you jsut dont want to eat it or eat food grown from it.

But it does act as a great fert.

I will post on this in the next day or so....

    I will follow thru.

Question on vege, and flowering cycle.

I have read articles about the hazards of cat shit. It can be very deadly and it does release spores in the air. even under soil the spores will creep out and become airborn. these are mold and fungus and will grow in the soil and thrive and be host to many other organisms and disease. sure it may make your plants grow a little better but your health will be at risk. go buy some real ferts
