We're gonna go smoke a joint okay?" I was like "Cool, can I come?" He thought I was joking so he just laughed and shut the door. Dammit. I sat with the few people that were driving a long ways to get home then I got bored and went upstairs. When I went upstairs I pulled my dad's girlfriend to a corner and asked her if she knew my uncle was a pothead. She said yeah, "unfortunately".

When I went back downstairs my uncle came up to me and started talking in German. I had no idea what he was saying and then he started dancing. I was cracking up. He said "Kaela, I want you to know just one little thing... I love you. You're the best kid ever." Shortly after my dad found out that they were smoking pot and he went outside with them (I thought.. YES! my dad's smoking with them! but he wasn't) and then we left. Since then, when my uncle talks to me he talks about weed... a lot. It's cool.

It would be very odd for me to ask him if I could smoke with him. I don't know if he would say "Yea, of course" or tell my dad to be worried about me. I don't know how to ask him. Maybe I should wait for him to approach me? Also, I'm 14 if that makes any difference. Maybe he thinks I'm too young or something.. idk.
most civilized nations have a age limit of 16 and i would have to agree on that you sound like a smart young lady and a lucky one at that with having a uncle and dad that care that much about you..im sure when your dad think's you are ready he will tell you.. take another year or 2 to be a kid before getting in to the drug scene.. starting when you are that young dosnt alaways end in disaster but it can damn sure cause unwanted problems
