I just built the same size aero system out of same tub with 20 misters underside of tub 15 gallons of nutes and 12 inch bubbler on bottom. My plants are 2 weeks old and are on GH 3 part nutes they are in the system now for 4th day and looking healthy. My pH goes up slightly each day. more when I only had 10 gallons of nutes in ther. Now w/ 15 gallons seems to rise slower..3 points in one day..When should I add pH down what pH?...I added 2 gallons plain water in two days seems like thats whats needed 1 gallon day....I am useing RO water 7.0 pH...anyway ...Next week I will be getting a digital cam to show pictures.... Is it safe to post on this site? Can I wait two weeks to change nutes out? Low on money to buy more diamond nector? or can I mix only three part micro/grow/bloom...without diamond nector? only have 1 tsp per gallon of each part right now...Don't wanna burn plants again...Will be getting ppm meter in two weeks...Cant wait for the peice of mind....Big difference since I got the oakton pH meter three days ago!!!! This is a very good site to learn. I post pics cause what's the difference when you talk about it. If they want (feds) to chase down every small personal grower the terrorist would have run of the country. They have more important things to do. How much and where did you get your PH meter ? I need one but low on funds lately. Try to keep your PH down I'm sure you seen the levels required. The PPM meter helps greatly. Add nutes and then PH balance. As for the nutes and nector I'm using dyna-gro one part either grow or bloom it's what came with my system, but want to try others. Start your own thread so you can keep us updated with pics and peeps will help with questions. This site is great and don't forget to use the search. I also need to get the growers bible or one of the other good books for refrence.

I trimmed the water roots back. Let's see what happens. Day 10 of 12/12.All are showing white hairs, just a few but showing. The root just barely hit water now.

Oh Yea, just found a dam illeagle alien in my stuff !! after awhile we broke down the language bairerer and I decided to let him stay and help with the harvest. Cheap wages. LOL. Besides I got a whole group watching him just in case. More to come!!!

AandKdaddy...you add you 3 part to distilled water/RO water and ph won't fluctuate as much...you adjust ph down every time you change your reservoir, also you ph adjust your water before you top off in between nutes changeout...hopes this helps

Update! The plant I cut the roots on droopped alittle, should be first pic. Only on the top not much though. I just changed the res today and It's been 2 days since I cut them and I can see the roots starting to grow back. It's 12 days into 12/12 and the other pic is the hairs starting all over all six plants, northern lights. It's about time I start getting lucky. Things like growwing any type of plants don't come easy to me. But if you do your home work it can be done. I'm watching them Zandor beside a little droop it's still kicking ass. That's why they call it playing. Thanks much , more updates to come.

What you should be seeing is the one you trimmed the roots on the main stock will thicken. It will work just a little harder for nutrient uptake and that will make the stock thicker. Thicker stock will increase the over all weight of the finished product. Just keep an eye out. Not every strain likes having it roots messed with. It's not like you are trimming the root ball their just branch roots. It will slow just a bit for a short time but once the stock thickens it will out produce the others.

That's whatâ??s supposed to happen anyway. I just hope the plant reads the same books I do...lol
