Have any of you ever wondered if there is really a massive connection between the "arts" in general ex. writing, painting, dancing, acting, music....etc? At my art center almost everyone uses one drug from weed to adderall...and the guards/teachers don't do anything about it because they probably know that by setting up an art school their will be almost certainly prone drug use. I mean...the cops don't even drive by the streets connected with the art campus...it's great. So do any of you think there is some sort of "ssshhhh" going down in the art schools across America? I do...because knowing I write and paint and my friends that do too...we all smoke weed and eat shrooms...peace.

I know that when I smoke, I get really artistic, and When I was in school, I would go to art class high, and when I did my teacher knew...he laughed it off, but when I came in and wasn't stoned, I couldn't write/nor draw worth shit. So yeah maybe your art teachers/and such are undercover hippies,and know what it takes to actually come up with a peice of art. Look at vincent van gogh, and all the others. You know they were on things,and they're famous. So maybe your teachers/cops know that if you all keep doing this, you'll become famous..Or maybe your teachers are just big stoners and druggies to, as well as the cops and really don't give a damn if you do or don't. I know the cops around here where I live, they do a drug bust probably once a year,and leave it at that. They know all the big times sellers,and growers but are just as big potheads as we are,and doesn't do anything about it.

I use to go stoned to caligraphy(sp) all the time. It was fun except i always felt like the teacher treated me as a retard when i was high, or atleast it seemed like it.

in response to the thread, i think it all depends on the person. i dont find myself drawing or writing, etc. when i get stoned...but i'm not saying that it doesn't strike some creativity in my head. so, it's very possible that your theory is factual...i wouldn't doubt it.
