wow so I guess if you guys have an issue you just take it to the Parliament. Where would you protest the issue of Med weed use. House of commons? Is it hard to get bills passed because it has to go through two houses? Do the two houses fight for power or something? This is how all UK law is made? lol it all seems very 12th century to me. Do the house of lords get dressed up funny for a debate?
Sorry about my lack of knowledge on this matter. Actually from the little i understand our governments seem very similar. I mean no offence with this post. Just curious as to what its like to live there.

there is a hint of excitement in doing it illegaly, although, sometimes, i'm tired of feeling like a criminal.

The New South Wales Government announced back on the 20th May 2003 that they would commence a Trial into the medical use of cannabis where registered patients would be given cannabis by the government.
Nothing has happened since, so a group of patients, doctors, supporters and other activists have an annual 'Patients on the grass' picnic in the park at the rear of the Parliament building. We invite politicians to come and meet with medical users to discuss the issues. Some turn up - maily opposition or independant members.
We are only a small group and are probably not influencing things much, but at least we try to keep the issue alive.

wow dude you seem to be in a whole different league then alot of the people here (including myself). I'm just a kid who smokes weed in the states and I really don't care all that much if they legalize it here or not. The world will still turn for me. And my argument for the cause would only be for personal gain.
But what your fighting for is truly awesome. It makes me feel foolish when i think of the reasons i would want weed legalized. Medical cannibas can do so much for patients in the UK and the US, and your government not passing that bill seems to be pure ignorance on there part.
I'm a huge fan of what your doing. And that picture of you tokeing up on TV on your site is the coolest thing ever. Rock on.
