Diffrence
Hey
I haven't grown before but plan on it. I was wondering whats the diffrence between growing this way or with soil? Will the bud end up better? Any feedback is appreciated.

If you have NO idea what your doing, I suggest you buy a book man.. Its gonna take a while and alot of screw ups if you dont now what you're doing. PS soil is better if you can mix up a good batch of it. Seriously buy a book from the hempshop.

ok, buy the book it's good for you.....while waiting for it to arrive though, you can still take a look at the hydroponics section on the FAQ on www.overgrow.com
generally speaking hydro is better than soil because plants grow faster in the same amount of time and produce 100-300% more than soil.....the great advantage, the soil cultivation has, is that with soil you get a better taste.

Hmm I dont think he would be able to handle hydro if he's new to this growing thing. If he wants to give it a try, Ill help him out along the way with plant problems.

I think I'm going to try soil first. I was just wondering because people are always talking about hydro weed being better. Thanks for the info.

I believe that many people believe hydro to be better because of the "seedless female" Many believe the female is hydro. After talking with some fellow smokers, I got a good giggle because I realized I used to be in the same frame of mind. That is, thinking hydro was seedless and blah blah blah. Maybe this is the same with others as well. Many people aren't aware of the botany of the plant and are limited to what knowledge they do have. I was one of those that use to say, man I want some good hydro, associating that with the seedless fluff that I enjoyed. Also, maybe the hydro they had was from an expensive seed and the soil grow was an average seed... many possibilities.
Happy growing and high times,
