acctualy there are some stains that are naturaly purple.Panama red(well it has a little more red to its purple but you can see the purple in it),purple power, purple star, purple krush and purple haze are a few,but some growers do stress their weed to give it a higher sale value(looks purple and smells purple...must be one of those awsome purple strains right?)

purple haze isn't rare to anyone who grows its very available from tons of seed companies, the genetics from each strain usualy differ from seed company to seed company but they usualy use purple power and purple star.most agree though the old strain is long gone.but the new stuff isn't so bad either

well here in San Francisco we have a very popular purple strain called purple erkel. yeah it's spelled like that for some reason but pronounced like Urkel. But it's really quite terrific, so good that I don't remember much of anything from the night that I tried it, aside from the fact that I had a very good time.

I've also had Granddaddy Purple, but I didn't like it as much

Haze is renowned for being mostly if not pure sativa. Its been said before, Haze strains have a very long flowering period and don't yield much compared to other strains. This makes commericial growth impracticle. (Note I am not saying impossible.)

when you get to weed as good as some of the purple stains its not really how good the weed is its more the type of high, you know,if its clear, uplifting, mellow(sativa type high usualy)or if it is more or a"omg this is a great couch" kinda high that usualy gives huge munchies and long weed naps this is usualy from indica and a good example of this high is authintic white rhino, its strong sedateing high that is pretty good, and anyone who has had authintic white rhino(granted i only know three other people that have)always compiment its frankinsence(sp?) like taste.
