does P burn or just N? 0-48-0
I went to Home Depot and saw a product, Triple Phosphate 0-48-0.
was wondering if (P) burns the plants or is it just (N)
I want to use this between normal feedings if possible.

Thatâ??s a good question
Phosphorus (P) is mobile. Marijuana likes P and many strains will thrive on extra P but there is down side. P in excess interferes with calcium, copper, FE, Mg and Zn stability and uptake. Organic versions are Bat guano, steamed bone meal or barnyard manure. Itâ??s a balancing act like everything else. Start with a little extra at a time, you can always add more later but itâ??s a bitch to take it out. What you need to look for in toxic shock is stunted growth; small leaves with a bluish-green color often with blotches. Stems and leaf stems man turn reddish to purple starting from the underside. Older leaf tips turn dark and curl downward.
Donâ??t feel bad I had to check my past notes on this one.

Improper Ph does not burn. It's the nutrient lock out the occurs when the Ph is not correctly balanced. This chart may explain Ph balance and what nutrients are affected. Just down load the picture and save it on your desktop for reference

Thank you for the chart, Zandor. What would cause purple streaks on my stalk? Is this normal while the plant is budding? Or am I lacking a nute like N? because I think it might be a nitrogen deficincy? whats your thoughts?

Red streaks could be several things even normal so it's hard to tell unless you have grow that strain before. Just watch the Ph closly and don't over react that may do harm as well. I dirt it takes time for problems to show and even longer time for them to show improvement.

I have had the streaks before as well but i would say mine was more of a red streak. All my plants get good nutes and u cant see anything wrong with the plant,i have heard people say it is a nute deficiensy.Personaly i dont worry about it.I call it a feature of the plant...
